Owners Missy and Rich Macias, and their daughters Kelsey and Jessica, have proudly called Warrenton their home for 17 years. The 20-year Air Force veterans can often be seen walking their dogs Jake, Alister, and Meko near Auburn Mill and Vint Hill Farms. They were My Pet’s Friend’s first customers in 2009, after their first dog Rex was born. Missy left government service in 2017 to join My Pet’s Friend and, after realizing how much she loved working with animals, agreed to purchase the company. As owners, Missy and Rich are dedicated to a core mission: Caring for pets in comfortable surroundings without compromising their owner's security and privacy needs. My Pet’s Friend was founded by long-time Warrenton resident Beth Whistler in 2009. Since then, it has grown from two clients to more than 750 clients. Along with her husband Joe, Beth dedicated her life to working with Warrenton’s pets and their owners turning My Pet’s Friend into Fauquier County’s premier dog walking and pet sitting company.
